A documentary I had almost forgotten about since working in the UK unit eighteenmonths ago, so I was pleased to see it had finally been completed and selected forthis year’s Sundance festival, having received some positive early reviews. The UKshoot was produced and directed by Amy Berg, who is best known for lifting thelid on the catholic church with her award-winning documentary ‘Deliver us fromEvil’. As is usual with these types of productions I am sworn to secrecy throughthe confidentiality agreement, but needless to say the shoot was very interesting,informative, and I’m sure the film will do well this year.
About Me
I am a Skillset-trained location sound mixer and live sound technician with over 6 years experience. I live in Oxford, which is handy when it comes to picking up sound jobs in the South-East, but most of my work is based in London. Since 2007 I have been teaching location sound courses at OFVM Film Oxford and various other organisations. I have been privileged to work across a range of mediums including drama, documentary, corporate and commercial, and also a range of formats, from 35mm to Digibeta to HD; please have a look at my credit list for a selection of various projects I have worked on. I am equally happy recording dual-system sound to a DAT or digital recorder as I am mixing straight to camera, and I have a full broadcast kit to meet each requirement.
