Location Sound Workshops/Tuition
I currently run location sound weekend workshops for Film Oxford on a quarterly basis, and also run one-off sound tutorials for institutions such as FE colleges and
video production units, such as (most recently) Oxfam. If you are looking to run a
basic introduction to sound workshop for budding film makers, looking to brush up
on your media department’s sound acquisition skills, or interested in running more in-
depth location sound training workshops, please get in touch. I am always happy to
work with new organisations and tailor workshops to your requirements.
Sound Editing
I have a full set of ProTools in a home studio for creating your final sound mix. This
includes track-laying, application of EQ and effects, syncing foley and additional
sound, layering ambience, mixing in the soundtrack, and mastering the final mix.
This can be done with the director to ensure it meets the film’s requirements. Sound
edits are easily transferable between standard editing platforms such as AVID and
Final Cut Pro.
