As any production company will tell you, every production is different and therefore costs different amounts due to the large amount of factors affecting each production.¬Ý A film shot on high-definition video at 4 different locations over eight days, involving research, scripting & storyboards, and complex graphics will cost significantly more than a small production shot on DVCam at 1 location over two days with a couple of days basic editing, even though both productions last 15 minutes.¬Ý Productions generally fall between £2000 and £20,000 although charity and community videos can be made at the lower end of the scale.¬Ý
